Muslim Immigration: Stacking the deck to fulfill prophecy

Who is the Remnant?

The remnant of Jacob consists of those alive today who are of the lineage of the house of Israel. These are broken into two categories: those who know they are of the house of Israel and those who do not. Historically, we have only a very small portion of information regarding which groups of Israelites went where. At the same time, at least some groups purporting to be Jews in modern times are actually descendants of converts to the Jewish faith, and are not of the house of Israel. That being said, the group of those who are of the house of Israel but are not aware is far larger than the group who are aware of their ancestry.

In the latter group we have many (if not all) Latin Americans, many (if not all) American Indians, at least 5% of "European" Americans, a great deal of Persians, and a great deal of Arabs.

At least some portion of Indians in the Americas (North, Central, and South) are descendants of Lehi, of the tribe of Manasseh, who came out from Israel around 600 BC. At least some are descendants of Mulek, prince of Judah, who came to the Americas around that same time.

"And ye will also know that ye are a remnant of the seed of Jacob;" (Mormon 7:10)

"...this people who are a remnant of the house of Jacob." (3 Nephi 21:2.)

Because the Mulekites and Lehites mixed, many are from both Judah and Manasseh (this will be important). It is surprising to some to learn that a non-trivial percentage of those who think they are European also have the blood of Indians in them. This raises the possibility that there are, in the US and Canada, at least some people who are descendants of Ephraim (through their European heritage), Manasseh (through their Lehite heritage) and Judah (through their Mulekite heritage).

At least some portion of Persians and Arabs (inhabitants of modern day Middle East) are descendants of the Israelites (mostly the 10 tribes) who were taken from Israel by the Assyrians around 740 BC.
At least some portion of Persians and Arabs are descendants of the Israelites (mostly Judah and Benjamin), who were taken there by the Babylonians around 600 BC.
"And as surely as the Lord liveth, will he gather in from the four quarters of the earth all the remnant of the seed of Jacob, who are scattered abroad upon all the face of the earth." (3 Nephi 5:24.)

The remnant are among the agents of the destruction of the Gentiles:

"Therefore, repent ye, and humble yourselves before him, lest he shall come out in justice against you—lest a remnant of the seed of Jacob shall go forth among you as a lion, and tear you in pieces, and there is none to deliver." (Mormon 5:24)

" 9 For in that day, for my sake shall the Father work a work, which shall be a great and a marvelous work among them; and there shall be among them those who will not believe it, although a man shall declare it unto them.
 10 But behold, the life of my servant shall be in my hand; therefore they shall not hurt him, although he shall be marred because of them. Yet I will heal him, for I will show unto them that my wisdom is greater than the cunning of the devil.
 11 Therefore it shall come to pass that whosoever will not believe in my words, who am Jesus Christ, which the Father shall cause him to bring forth unto the Gentiles, and shall give unto him power that he shall bring them forth unto the Gentiles, (it shall be done even as Moses said) they shall be cut off from among my people who are of the covenant.
 12 And my people who are a remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles, yea, in the midst of them as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he go through both treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
 13 Their hand shall be lifted up upon their adversaries, and all their enemies shall be cut off.
 14 Yea, wo be unto the Gentiles except they repent; for it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Father, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots;
 15 And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strongholds;
 16 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thy land, and thou shalt have no more soothsayers;
 17 Thy graven images I will also cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee, and thou shalt no more worship the works of thy hands;
 18 And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee; so will I destroy thy cities.
 19 And it shall come to pass that all lyings, and deceivings, and envyings, and strifes, and priestcrafts, and whoredoms, shall be done away.
 20 For it shall come to pass, saith the Father, that at that day whosoever will not repent and come unto my Beloved Son, them will I cut off from among my people, O house of Israel;
 21 And I will execute vengeance and fury upon them, even as upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.
 22 But if they will repent and hearken unto my words, and harden not their hearts, I will establish my church among them, and they shall come in unto the covenant and be numbered among this the remnant of Jacob, unto whom I have given this land for their inheritance;
 23 And they shall assist my people, the remnant of Jacob, and also as many of the house of Israel as shall come, that they may build a city, which shall be called the New Jerusalem.
 24 And then shall they assist my people that they may be gathered in, who are scattered upon all the face of the land, in unto the New Jerusalem.
 25 And then shall the power of heaven come down among them; and I also will be in the midst.
 26 And then shall the work of the Father commence at that day, even when this gospel shall be preached among the remnant of this people. Verily I say unto you, at that day shall the work of the Father commence among all the dispersed of my people, yea, even the tribes which have been lost, which the Father hath led away out of Jerusalem.
 27 Yea, the work shall commence among all the dispersed of my people, with the Father to prepare the way whereby they may come unto me, that they may call on the Father in my name." (3 Nephi 21.)

"1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
 2 But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
 3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
 4 ¶And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
 5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
 6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.
 7 And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the Lord, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.
 8 And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
 9 Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
 10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:
 11 And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:
 12 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:
 13 Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.
 14 And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.
 15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard." (Micah 5.)

 14 And the Father hath commanded me that I should give unto you this land, for your inheritance.
 15 And I say unto you, that if the Gentiles do not repent after the blessing which they shall receive, after they have scattered my people—
 16 Then shall ye, who are a remnant of the house of Jacob, go forth among them; and ye shall be in the midst of them who shall be many; and ye shall be among them as a lion among the beasts of the forest, and as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he goeth through both treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
 17 Thy hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
 18 And I will gather my people together as a man gathereth his sheaves into the floor.
 19 For I will make my people with whom the Father hath covenanted, yea, I will make thy horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass. And thou shalt beat in pieces many people; and I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth. And behold, I am he who doeth it.
 20 And it shall come to pass, saith the Father, that the sword of my justice shall hang over them at that day; and except they repent it shall fall upon them, saith the Father, yea, even upon all the nations of the Gentiles.
 21 And it shall come to pass that I will establish my people, O house of Israel.
 22 And behold, this people will I establish in this land, unto the fulfilling of the covenant which I made with your father Jacob; and it shall be a New Jerusalem. And the powers of heaven shall be in the midst of this people; yea, even I will be in the midst of you. (3 Nephi 20)

The state of the Indians
Native Americans are more alienated and united than they have been in over 100 years. They are almost totally disenfranchised. Generation after generation of government dependency would leave them in a very dangerous position should the government suddenly withdraw the massive amounts of welfare they give them, over and above the normal welfare programs.

The state of the Latinos
Though estimates vary, approximately 20 million people in the US are either illegal immigrants from Latin American countries, or are US-born children of illegal immigrants from Latin American countries. That is about 6% of the US population. While 27% of the US population is on welfare, 56.2% of Latin immigrants are.

Mexico's economy is in bad shape, but what little strength it has is due to trade (legal and less than legal) with the US. The Mexican GDP is $1,143 billion. The trade deficit with Mexico is nearly $60 billion. $50 billion dollars are sent from the US to home countries by illegals each year. At least half of that goes to Mexico. Mexican drug cartels make an addition $64 billion per year from the United States. If President Trump does what he has said he will do, more than 10% of Mexico's economy is at direct risk. If that doesn't sound dangerous, recall that Mexico recently had country-wide rioting because of a $0.90 increase in gas costs. Beyond quantitative damage, Mexicans are becoming incredibly angry at the proffered policies.

The Mexican drug gangs have brutally murdered over 40,000 people in Mexico in the last decade. Should they gain access to the United States, they would run roughshod over the populace. Meanwhile, what happens to the 20 million or more illegal Latinos if they become radicalized through, for example, threat of deportation?

The state of the Muslims

Millions of Muslim immigrants from Syria and other Mideast countries have flooded Europe. On 2 December 2016, the Daily Mail published a survey that said 50% of the UK's Muslims would not report it if they knew someone who was participating in terrorism. Pew research reported that American Muslims believed suicide bombing of civilians is acceptable. 1% said it was often acceptable, 7% said sometimes, and 5% said rarely (the last option, having the remainder, was never). In Muslim countries, the responses went up to 12, 23, and 25%. In other words, only 40% of non-US Muslims believe suicide bombing against civilians is unacceptable. And that is against civilian targets (the numbers would be higher without that key word). Government, military, or police targets are not civilians. In Sweden, 77% of the rape cases are perpetrated by male Muslim immigrants, who are just 2% of the population. Consider that Sweden is third in the world for frequency of rape per capita, with 63 per 100k in 2010 (it is worse now). Another Pew survey indicated that the majority of Muslim immigrants are not interested in assimilating to US culture, and are likely supporters of the implementation of Sharia law, which mandates the murder of homosexuals and the abuse of women.

One of the best people I know is a lifelong Muslim, a Malaysian army officer who I met while I was in the Army and deployed to Malaysia. What is odd, though, is that this man was devout yet unorthodox. He rejected the violent aspects of Islam. He was even willing to discuss religion with me, a Christian, something that carried the death penalty in his country.

Doctrinally, the core tenets of Islam dictate that the world is to be converted by precept or conquering. Violence is intrinsic to the religion.

The fact is that one cannot both be a peaceful Muslim and a faithful Muslim. In other words, Muslims are only peaceful to the degree that they are not Muslims. The only peaceful Muslims are those who reject key tenets of Islam, such as the idea that homosexuals are to be murdered, adulterers stoned, and non-Muslims must either convert, pay a tax, or be killed.

If there were a group of Muslims who denounced violence and split off from the rest, it would be quite easy to argue for their admittance. Instead, we have data that shows that more than 50% support conversion by conquering. That is unacceptable.

Many Americans are opposed to allowing Muslim immigrants into the US, especially unvetted "refugees." Nevertheless, President Obama brought more than 15,000 Syrian refugees into the US in 2016. Many Americans are pushing against President Trump's recent ban of immigration from most Middle East countries (surprisingly, Saudi Arabia is still allowed).
