United States Civil War 2: What you should do and what comes next

Some time ago I started saying that there would be a second civil war. Then, I started saying it had already begun. As with other predictions I've made, such as the arrival of a Chinese superflu two years before it happened, or that an eventual war with China and Russia would occur, many resisted or rejected my words claiming it could never happen. Eventually, more and more people woke up to these and other prophecies, and pretty soon they are discussed openly as mainstream ideas. Everyone seems to forget that there was time when it was considered crazy and impossible. Few react to such incidents by increasing in their willingness to believe other things from the same source that seem equally crazy or impossible. So it has always been (see, for example, Helaman 7-9).

The second US civil war has been one such idea. I've been speaking about this for years and years. Now it is a mainstream idea. Some recent events include current and former federal legislators openly calling for a "national divorce" in order to prevent a civil war, and many of the national news talking heads frequently mentioning the possibility of civil war. A large recent poll showed that half of the people in the US now expect a civil war "soon."

Maybe you are now more willing to consider that this is possible. I reiterate that it has long-since begun.

One reason people can still deny it is because, as I've explained before, it won't look anything like the previous one. There are many reasons for this. I'll just focus on a few here.

Geography. The confederate states were contiguous. The ideological orientation of the United States is now heterogenous. There are no ideologically aligned contiguous multi-state regions or even ideologically aligned single states. For some reason, many people don't get this, even though it is obvious.

Think about it. During the last election, did you drive through any section of your town seeing only signs for one side? Put another way, how far did you need to drive before seeing variety? I live in one of the fewest people-per-square-mile areas in the lower 48, and yet I know that, even among the ~40 households living closest to me, we have very different ideas on big issues. And I know that I live less than 100 miles from an extremely leftist city. Every person in the US can say something similar.

If a traditional war were to break out, it would be a house-to-house war, not a state-to-state or north-vs-south war. Which means it will never be a traditional war. Instead, it is likely to just be a cascade of "random" violence from all ideologies, mixed with increasingly draconian policies and actions from the institutions in this country, which are much more ideologically aligned than the nation's households.

Technology and tactics. The technological innovation of the civil war was the machine gun. It radically changed the battlefield. Principally, both sides had the same technology. Today, we have drones, laser-guided missiles, biological agents, and a host of other weapons. And only the government has them.

Meanwhile, the tactic that arguably won the war had nothing to do with what the majority of union troops were doing, but rather the ruthless execution of guerrilla warfare by General Sherman. Some have argued that without Sherman and his sideshow, the union would have lost.

Today, the US military has books worth of psychological and other asymmetric tactics carefully tuned in nonstop wars abroad over decades. The US government has actively used these tactics on its own citizens since at least the early 1950s, when the CIA began influencing national news through secret but official relationships with influential people in news organizations. Today, we know they have active relationships with the tech companies that operate social media--the predominant way most people get most of their information--where they dictate what should be censored. Beyond this, the federal government dictates more of everyday life than it ever has.

In short. If the south failed to secede from the north in the 1860s, there isn't a snowball's chance in hell it will happen today. Anyone cheering this on is merely cheering on a nasty but short-lived one-sided bloodbath that will lead to complete capitulation of the already anemic spirit of self determination and freedom in this country. If the marxists have succeeded as thoroughly as they have in the last decade without overt war, what do you think they will accomplish when they have legitimacy to operate in open warfare?

What can you do about it? I will tell you how this is going to end. In the near future, we will have a significantly more draconian federal government, forcing you to do even worse things than they already do, turning your kids into even less reachable zombies than they already are, and stealing even more of the fruits of your work, while making the fruits of your work much harder to honestly gain.

How to fight. Do not try to fight this war with violence. There may have been a time when that would have worked, but if so, it was probably before the 1860s. Instead:

-Do what is right in your personal life. This includes recognizing daily opportunities to say what you believe is true, even though people will hate you for it, and will attempt to destroy your reputation or worse for having done so.

-Take personal responsibility for training your children. Do whatever you can right now, and take measures to increase your ability to do so,

-MOVE OUT OF CITIES AND SUBURBS. If there is any reasonable action you can take towards that goal, take it. The window continues to close. The price of doing this has dramatically increased since I first started advising it, and, for various reasons, moving will continue to slide out of reach of more and more people.

-Pray for God to bring justice to this nation. When the righteous unite their voices in pleas to God, he will answer.

How God will fight it. The Lord has a fixed set of tools. They are: Information from people, famine, disease, civil violence, and foreign invasion. These things have been decreed, and they will not be turned away. Repeat: The US will face famine, disease, civil violence, and war until all people who will wake up have woken up. Then, he will sweep the land clean of all who do not follow him with might, mind, and strength.

The United States *will* divide. However, it won't happen neatly, and it won't result in any new nations. It will result in the complete but iterative destruction of everything we have. Whether there are fragments that endure temporarily in the process doesn't really matter.

I don't presently know whether there will be one or more famines or plagues. I do know that they happen before the invasion, and I do know that there is some time between now and the invasion. I also know that one of the plagues is going to be so deadly and so contagious that people will willingly remain in their houses for months. It will not be anything like covid. You will not need any government official to tell you to remain inside. You won't leave for any reason, and those who do will die quickly and will infect and kill any they come around. Imagine what that means in the cities and suburbs, where there is no food, no water, and no ability to get more of either without the many systems requiring normal conditions.

12 And in that day did the Lord God of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
13 And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.
14 And it was revealed in mine ears by the Lord of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord God of hosts. (Isaiah 22)

Mine indignation is soon to be poured out without measure upon all nations; and this will I do when the cup of their iniquity is full. (D&C 101:11)

7 And the Lord would not suffer that they should stop beyond the sea in the wilderness, but he would that they should come forth even unto the land of promise, which was choice above all other lands, which the Lord God had preserved for a righteous people.
8 And he had sworn in his wrath unto the brother of Jared, that whoso should possess this land of promise, from that time henceforth and forever, should serve him, the true and only God, or they should be swept off when the fulness of his wrath should come upon them.
9 And now, we can behold the decrees of God concerning this land, that it is a land of promise; and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall serve God, or they shall be swept off when the fulness of his wrath shall come upon them. And the fulness of his wrath cometh upon them when they are ripened in iniquity.
10 For behold, this is a land which is choice above all other lands; wherefore he that doth possess it shall serve God or shall be swept off; for it is the everlasting decree of God. And it is not until the fulness of iniquity among the children of the land, that they are swept off.
11 And this cometh unto you, O ye Gentiles, that ye may know the decrees of God—that ye may repent, and not continue in your iniquities until the fulness come, that ye may not bring down the fulness of the wrath of God upon you as the inhabitants of the land have hitherto done.
12 Behold, this is a choice land, and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall be free from bondage, and from captivity, and from all other nations under heaven, if they will but serve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ, who hath been manifested by the things which we have written. (Ether 2)

How oft have I called upon you by the mouth of my servants, and by the ministering of angels, and by mine own voice, and by the voice of thunderings, and by the voice of lightnings, and by the voice of tempests, and by the voice of earthquakes, and great hailstorms, and by the voice of famines and pestilences of every kind, and by the great sound of a trump, and by the voice of judgment, and by the voice of mercy all the day long, and by the voice of glory and honor and the riches of eternal life, and would have saved you with an everlasting salvation, but ye would not! (D&C 43:25)
