A day's wages for a loaf of bread

I wrote this two days before the Russians invaded Ukraine, but withheld it until this morning. This is vital information, and I have no reason to believe it will be taken seriously by any that read it, given response to previous prophecies.

For about ten years I have been warning you that the USA will be terminally invaded by the Chinese and Russians, and that most men would die or be taken away as slaves. At the time, most people who read those warnings dismissed them as ridiculous--something that was impossible. Perhaps today, a normal person would consider the possibility much greater.

As the world experiences echoes of wars and rumors of wars, fear will increase. Let your fear be the fear of God, and not of man, nor anything men can do to you, nor death. God knows all things, he has all power, and he loves you more than you love yourself. Trust him, reconcile your life to his will, and find peace in him that has power to overcome anything that can or will happen in this life.

Ten years ago, there were exceedingly few who said anything about a Chinese or Russian invasion. They existed, but they were rare. Now, seemingly everyone believes the risk of war with China and Russia is high.

Having made the fleece wet among dry ground, the Lord will now make the fleece dry among wet ground (see Judges 6).

People tend to ignore warnings that seem far off. Then, all of the sudden, they assume everything is upon them all at once. Psychologically, it's very difficult to perceive things that are gradual, especially if--for some people and some locations--events seem anything but.

The end times events are a process. They will take time to occur. It's not an all-at-once scenario, though it is comprised of many things that do happen all at once.

These things ebb and flow. They hit in waves, they seem to recede, but they make an unmistakable trend. Do not make the mistake of coming through them pretending that there are people who do not, or by quickly forgetting your own fear when it was upon you. God is giving these things to facilitate your repentance. Do not respond by being more hardened.

The invasion of the United States--an event--will not come until many other events and processes that have not yet occurred. It will not happen until after disease, famine, great civil unrest, and terrible persecution of those who do the right thing (be they professed Christians or not), though not necessarily in that order. In the disease, famine, civil unrest, and persecution, many, many people will die.[1]

After all these things, a series of extreme natural disasters will occur. The sun will turn black, there will be great shakings of the earth, there will be fire raining from the sky, and other natural events. These things will be events. These things will be unlike anything you've ever experienced in your life, and it will be very evident that this is something different. Many, many people will die.

Only after these things will the invasion of the United States come.

I will not here give the reasons for what I am predicting, because the point is not to persuade you to believe or anticipate these things. That argument will come later. The point is that, when they happen, you will know that God knows the future, he precisely arranges circumstances, and you can lean on him with all your heart, might, mind, and strength without concern for what might seem overwhelmingly terrible in the moment. These things are given as tokens and signs to witness of more important things which are to come (see John 13:19, Ezekiel 33:33, John 10:37-38, and Helaman 8-9).

God will deliver you to better circumstances than you can imagine if you trust in him in all things, even unto death. Trust him. Obey him. Seek him. Seek to do what he would do at all times and in all places, no matter what others might do to you for doing so.

The things upon us and shortly to come are far beyond the capacity of most to faithfully endure. Do not take lightly the things that are being revealed. The time is far spent to develop greater trust in God, to exercise full obedience to him, and to value what he has and will send you.

[1] - When I wrote this blogpost some time ago (but did not publish it), I wrote at this point: "For my part, I pray the famine comes first. Famine provides much greater opportunity for repentance than disease and violence. Though, in our degraded society, violence will certainly accompany a famine." It seems that my prayer will be granted. If you have means to purchase shelf-stable food and to store water, the time to do so is right now. One month is a good place to start, three months is better, but a year or more is ideal. In practical terms, you will be paying an unbelievable amount of money for food, fuel, and energy, and there will be many consequences for those who can no longer obtain them, including greater shortages than you've ever seen. Consider what you can do to prepare for this. I warned that there would be a time when it would be exponentially more difficult to prepare for what is coming--to move, to stock up, and so on. The next difficulty level has arrived. Consider the consequence, for example, of having an hour commute one way when gas prices reach $10/gallon, or feeding a family of 6 when grocery prices rise 5x. If you did not move closer to work, or arrange to work from home, or arrange for property where you have systems and knowledge in place to grow your own food, it is now either too late or comes with an extraordinary price tag.
