Jesus can cure so-called mental health problems

The comment:

A viewer responded to my video called Hierarchy of Awareness by saying:

Wow, I had to rewind and listen to some parts again.  I don’t believe in depression or anxiety like Western medicine defines it i.e. a broken brain or diminished quantity of some neurotransmitter and suspect the real treatment for these thought disorders has something to do with increasing awareness. Wonder what your thoughts on this are?  It seems that individuals with higher levels of awareness just don’t suffer from these pseudo-psychiatric conditions but as our world continues to degenerate, we will see more and more people suffer from this because of lack of awareness or constricted awareness or something to that effect.  Thanks for teaching these things that we just weren’t aware of before.

My response to him:

I agree with what you've said and can make a strong case for it. You've put my thoughts into brief terms better than I could. I am going to say a lot about this in times to come. Much of it is already recorded in video or text.

The very good news: What are called "mental health problems" today are nothing new. The gospel that has been the same since the beginning is perfectly designed to overcome (not just mitigate) them all. Then why hasn't it? It isn't a lack in the gospel, but a lack in what people call the gospel. The real gospel solves the problems. It's sad that so many Christians unnecessarily struggle with these things, and spend so much effort and angst treading water when God has always been willing to teach us not just how to swim through it gracefully, but how to walk on it and effectively command it to be still.

My statement to all:

For those struggling with any burdens of this type: look forward with grateful anticipation, because it is the will of the Lord of hosts that you be delivered from your affliction. Prepare for what the Lord will bring that saves you from what you have failed to overcome yourself by living up to what he has already given you in life.

The best way for you to be ready to perceive, receive, appreciate, and live what he will bring later is for you to perceive, receive, appreciate, and live what he has already given you. Light cleaves to light, and good makes better. Analyze your life for anything that is less than your best and make the changes you need to so that you can sincerely say you are doing the best you know to do at all times and in all places, and as the Lord's light breaks forth in unprecedented ways, you will notice, recognize it as good, and make the changes necessary to receive it into your life.
